This particular Kafka build will focus on her Speed and DoT. in that way, you can take her damage to its best efficiency and give her more attack windows, which her kit relies upon.

Besides that, Crit Rate and Crit Dmg should also be sought for, as they are some good substats that could really bring her burst damage up by a margin.

Getting additional Effect Hit Rate is unnecessary since her Tier 6 Ascension Trace and the Effect Hit Rate stats bonuses give Kafka’s Lightning  to enemies often. If you have Eidolon 1 however, it will increase the DoT effect, so Effect Hit Rate should be more useful then.

While you could go with Kafka and two other DoT units, having a support character who can lower the enemy’s DEF adds significant firepower. This balanced approach ensures both strong damage potential and team sustainability during battles.

Kafka Abilities

• Basic Attack: Midnight Tumult – An enemy is inflicted Lightning Damage equal to 50% – 100% Kafka’s ATK damage.
• Skill: Caressing Moonlight –  Kafka unleashes a surge of Lightning damage, striking the target enemy with a potency ranging from 80% to 176% of her ATK. Additionally, adjacent enemies are jolted with Lightning, taking damage equivalent to 30% to 66% of her ATK.

Should the primary target be under the influence of Damage over Time (DoT), all existing DoT effects on that enemy surge, dealing immediate damage at a rate of 60% to 78% of their original potency.

• Ultimate: Twilight Trill – Kafka unleashes a tempest of Lightning damage, striking all enemies with a force ranging from 48% to 86.4% of her ATK. There’s a guaranteed chance for affected enemies to become Shocked, immediately suffering damage from their current Shock state, amounting to 80% to 104% of its initial damage. This state of Shock persists for 2 turns.

While Shocked, adversaries endure a relentless onslaught of Lightning Damage over Time (DoT) at the onset of each turn, equivalent to 116% to 318.275% of Kafka’s ATK, further intensifying their plight.

Torture: Upon activation of Kafka’s Ultimate ability, enemy targets undergo a shift in their afflictions. Instead of solely experiencing immediate damage from the currently applied Shock state, they now face the repercussions of all currently active Damage over Time (DoT) effects. 

Plunder: When an enemy dies while under the effects of Shock, Kafka gains an additional 5 Energy.

Moreover, there’s a guaranteed chance for the struck enemy to be Shocked, mirroring the effect of her Ultimate, lasting for 2 turns. This follow-up attack can only occur once per turn.

Thorns: The probability of Kafka’s Ultimate, Technique, or follow-up attack triggering Shock is enhanced by an additional 30%.

• Technique: Mercy of Not Forgiveness – Upon entering battle, Kafka launches a lightning assault against all enemies within a designated range. This initial strike inflicts Lightning damage equal to 50% of her ATK to all adversaries. Additionally, there’s a guaranteed chance for each enemy to be afflicted with Shock, matching the effect of her Ultimate, enduring for 2 turns.
